I've snagged many a good bargain on eBay because someone misspelled a
vital part of the model name or number.

Hint: If you are looking for a model ab-123, look for ab123, ab 123,
123, ab, etc.

The plural of Yankee has no apostrophe.
As a proper noun it should be capitalized, except by Confederates.
There's no such word as jist.

Other than that, a fine, fine post, well worthy of someone who calls

This topic reminded me of a friend who speaks 7 languages and works as
a Translator in the United Nations...He spells terrible...but
speaks/enunciates
perfectly...In translation (during meetings...simultaneous
broadcast)he is about three words behind the speaker. So what does
spelling has to with his job. just $.02
