Get it right John, its a steering wheel for a boat!

Nothing to do with ground reflection but...
Shunt matching capacitor to raise feed point impedance. But do you need it in your installation? I used to use a BC variable cap hooked up to a throttle cable so I could fine tune my Hamsticks, Yes it made a difference although I never gave it a Buck Rogers name.
