I'm looking for a little help in the physical design of a 20m vertical
dipole. Specifically, I need advice on Al tubing sizes and preferred methods of connecting segments (hoseclamp ?, nut/bolt ?). Who's built something like this ?? Gary |

Who's built something like this ?? The ARRL Antenna Book has done all the work for us. I put mine together with aluminum pop-rivets. Got the telescoping aluminum 6 ft. pieces from Texas Towers who has a wind- loading PC program to evaluate stress on the elements. -- 73, Cecil http://www.qsl.net/w5dxp -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
