Alpha Amplifier 89 or 99 ??

Hi,

I am looking for an Alpha Linear amplifier. I have contacted the
factory they can supply a new model 99 in 4 weeks.

Can you seen any problems in buying the 89 available on eBay
(5881107129) or do you think that I am best to buy a new from the
factory ?

I have heard that these older series have better, EIMAC, tubes.Is that
correct ?
