Back to the vapourware.
Having now sold off the 16mm garden railway, time to pick up the
threads of machining for my 50-year-long RX project! I was considering the possibility of mixing an si570 VFO with an Eddystone-type tuning dial, which would mean a 4096 Gray coded disc so that when power is re-appllied, the si570 can be retuned approximately right! |

Why did you sell off the railway? Sounded like you'd spent a lot of time building that up. However, the Bath Stone tunnel mouth is still there, although I doubt now that I will continue with the Bath Stone turrets and crenellations to make it look like the entrance to Twerton Tunnel (always worth a google) |
