Default FCC Extends Some Deadlines, Suspends Vanity Call System

http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2005/09/30/100/?nc=1

In short, FCC has extended some regulatory deadlines (like
renewal/grace period dates) for hams in certain states affected by the
recent hurricanes. Since that also affects the vanity call system,
vanity processing has been temporarily suspended.
