It's only a estimated reading of the actual signal anyway. You'd be better off buying a newer scanner with that feature. n9zas -- n9zas thanks for the response . the 145XL is a fun thing . i am kind of playing around with it . i have a pre-amp hooked up to it . i am curios about the amp factor .
