The topic of standby power has been a topic in recnet weeks.
"The Electronic Goldman" www.goldmine-elec.com has some
prime Yusa NP3-6 6.3V 3.0A/Hr for $9.95 each.
Stack 2 in series and you can power most 12V receivers
for several hours. If you have a 6V, DX398/ATS909 etc, then
one will work for you.
Larger is better, but these are very affordable and fairly
lightwieght.
