I still think it is a pretty good value for the dollar, but am a little
disappointed by the performance of this radio, It seems to be a bit numb (compared to my Radio Shack DX390) in the MW and SW bands + awfully sensitive to any noise from nearby wall warts or electrical devices nearby. I did find that if I get it off the same electrical circuit (by going to another wall plug, for example) as a noisemaker that the noise situation improves dramatically. Anybody have any ideas what I could do to improve this little radio? I've searched the net far and wide and have found nothing. : ( I have an urge to tinker but have no idea where to start. |
