It has every high tech reception aid available I.e. sync detector that really works, passband tuning,and three band widths. As a swler for over 20 years the only thing that could do better is a table top that would cost you over $1000.00. As for all other aspects of the radio it does fantastic! Also the xm is thrown in to boot. the only thing i found was the external antenna connetion gets warm not very but noticeable. Over all the radio gives you great bang for your buck!
