I purchased and reviewed the Tecsun R-9012, a low-cost analog-tuned radio that receives AM, FM, and ten shortwave bands. It's quite similar to the Tecsun R-911 and Kaito WRX911 but with an updated casing and a tuning knob rather than a thumb wheel.
My review is posted on my weblog: http://cobaltpet.blogspot.com/2005/1...12-review.html Several pictures are also included.

Yeah, thanks for posting the review.. I've bookmarked the page.. one more tab in the Firefox Browser :-) - Personally , after getting the Degen DE1105, I've just about given up on small single reduction SW radios.. - However, in a pinch, they are still fun! |

Thanks for reading the review. Out of curiosity, what do you use as your main shortwave receiver?
