J.P. Schell is a guy in Elkhart, IN. I sent him my 780XLT scanner in
exchange for his AOR AR3000A scanner. I never saw the AOR. He claimed he
sent it, but I never received it. He then said he would ship my 780XLT back
to me to make an even deal. I never saw my 780XLT either. He doesn't respond
to my e-mails and his phone is disconnected.

I was ripped-off by this guy. He claims he buys/sells at lots of hamfests.
Anybody familiar with him?
