Illegal in the USA!!!
Buy a legal Cobra and live on 11 meters at 15 Watts PEP [the legal USA limit]. You may be making a public confession of illegal activity!! An eight and 1/2 feet long SS whip is the BEST mobile 11 meter antenna. wrote: I have a Cobra 148 GTL that is Modifed and may be using a 250 watt amp what would be the best Mobile Antenna. Thanks P Paul Hinman wrote: wrote: I have a Cobra 148 GTL that is Modifed and may be using a 250 watt amp what would be the best Mobile Antenna. Also what is the best Mobile Antenna with out the Amp Please Advise Peter I can think of a couple of solutions to your problem but as a personal favour to you I will not do anything to help you break the law and from what I have seen so far no one else on the group wants to see you do something that you might regret if you ever get caught. -- Paul S.
