Default MicroMatch

I have an M C Jones MicroMatch (Microwave Devices) and the pot in
the indicator unit (Model 262 w/ Model 261 Coupler Unit) was replaced
with a 500 ohm potentiometer. What is the correct value to allow the
scale to match the pointer, and is it straight or tampered? Would
like to have a copy of the schematic, if anyone can e-mail it to me.

That circuit is pretty common I would check the ARRL books for a schematic
and use what ever is there. I have a homebrew one that uses 5k.
