Default W8JK Memorial Station

Since W8JK is well known in antenna circles, you may be interested in
thus.

The John D Kraus Memorial Amateur Radio Club has been created, and
issued John's call sign W8JK.
The web site is http://www.naapo.org/W8JK/W8JK.htm . The station
will be on the air in various contests and special events. QSL via
KC8VEB. John was a well-known pioneer in antennas and Radio
Astronomy.

Couldn't you guys get better picture of W8JK, like in his fifties?

We have done that with our Tesla RC N2EE, see

That's how people would like to remember them.

Dear Neighbor:

That is Big Ear. I worked on its first instrumentation long ago - the
antenna that is, not the book. It has gone to the Great Scrap Yard where
good antennas go so as to make way for a baby-factory or the like.

It is wonderful that such a great man's call will be preserved.
