Default Sat tracking program

I'm thinking about experimenting with AMSAT's, and I was hoping
someone could suggest a PC tracking program for windows. Thanks for
the help.

Try SatPC32, at http://www.dk1tb.de/indexeng.htm It is not freeware,
but the demo is fully functional in all respects, except that each
time you start it, you need to reenter your longitude and latitude. If
you do decide to register it, do so through AMSAT, and the full amount
goes to AMSAT to fund operations and more satellites.

The graphics, at several levels of resolution, and multiple views, are
good. It also supports frequency control and antenna pointing for
just about any rig or interface you can imagine.

I second that . Very nice program and free. Also will update the Keps
directly from the internet with just a mouse click or two.

Also, try:
http://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/tools/predict/

Simpley add your Lat, and long. (In Decimal
equivalent, NOT in Minutes, and seconds 30 mins
= .5, 15 mins = .25, ect.), and your elevation IN
meters, NOT feet)(also can use grid square). will
calculate for some 25 different satelites. Amsat
also has several programs available and at minimal
cost (and helps support new satelite projects)!
Hope this helps Jim NN7K
