Default Model SA-2 ?

Found these Model SA-2 things in my antenna parts box. Can anyone
tell me what they are. They look like antenna loading coils. They
are about 8 inches long in about 1 inch PVC. States Spi-Ro
Manufatuuring on them. Surely I can use them for something.
