Default Any comments on LDG Z-100?

I am looking at one of these for use with my mobile station. It is a Kenwood
TS50S and Hamstick. Anyone using one? How is it working? Thanks.

I use mine with a FT-817/K5OOR amp/Van Gorden all bander
dipole. Works great!

You'd have to put a gun to my head to get my Z100......

Use mine with an IC718.
Have the cables to control it from the rig, works like an Icom tuner but I
get to keep more cash in the bank!
Delighted with it!

An email from Dwayne to me last night sez that a new tuner is on the market
by the end of February 04. It will be named z-100 pro... he wont give me
any details except to watch the website for details.

It should be another good prodct from LDG.

Hi Dave ...
Been using mine for mostly portable OP using a 20 meter
dipole usually launched to 20 feet or so. The Z-100 tunes this successfully
on 80 thru 10 meters. It seems to be more fussy on 6 meters and 160, so
having an antenna made for those bands would help it out. It tunes fast, and
I was amazed how cool it runs even tuning the 20 meter dipole on 80 ! (Had
some good QSOs there). It is a bit noisy, with relay clatter until the
first tuning on each band is made. Once a frequency is tuned low enough in
SWR, though, it's very fast. It doesn't always get below 2:1 SWR, but it's
satisfactory. I put a manual tuner in line if I really want to get SWR low !
