Default Romney...who cares?

Don't we as a country have more to worry about than worrying about if
Romney feels that hams aren't necessarily needed? What about issues
like social security, foreign policy, immigration, etc. Where does
Romney stand on these issues? To decide to vote or not vote for any
candidate based on their view of ham radio is a bit narrow minded perhaps?

It seems that about 2 years ago, Romney made a statement concerning
Amateur Radio, and something to the effect he does not support it as a means
of communication during emergencies. As I said, this was made 2 years ago,
and is now a BIG topic for some reason. While I am not planning to vote for
him, I guess someone felt the need to bring this up, to stir up the Ham
community. Looks like it did a good job from what I've seen all over the
place now. If that's the only negative thing anyone can find, he may well
may be the top choice, but then again, that does not seem to be the reason a
person is elected to most offices...

In the end, it all works out, because I dismiss Romney as a
presidential candidate.

Romney is a fool, but then what of the available, "news covered"
candidates are not? If we were choosing them for fitness to dress a
cannibals table, I guess any of 'em would serve. But to put us back on
course? Restore a gov't of the people? Show ability to solve the deep
economic/social problems we face? Reduce gov't? Drop back to the set
of the simple ten commandments as law? Phuffft!

We all realize we are in trouble, right?

Ron Paul--2008!
