I've been playing around with EZNEC instead of mowing the yard.
A standard G5RV works well on 75m, 40m, 20m, and 12m. My favorite band is 17m. If the G5RV dipole length is changed to 94 feet, and the series section changed to 40 feet of 450 ohm ladder-line, the resulting configuration will work well on 40m, 20m, 17m, 12m, and 10m, according to EZNEC. -- 73, Cecil http://www.w5dxp.com |

wish I could know how to use eznec :-( If you run MSWindows, why not download the free demo version of EZNEC? It comes with antenna examples that you can load and look at without having to design anything. -- 73, Cecil http://www.w5dxp.com |
