hi
maybe i am having a bad google day, can't seem to locate any amateur usa, verticle antennas for this band anyone know of any places that might be selling them? i need a omnidirectional plan ol' verticle antenna for around local repeaters thanks |

I can hit a repeater over 10 miles away on 6 Meters, using a 5 Watt HT and 100' of RG-58. |

Do work fine 1.2 and VHF/UHF and everything in between too. Good to have for the first outside antenna. There are gain omnis and yagis out there too. Best to use the best coax you can get, even hardline if you can afford the connectors. If you can keep the length down to 30' or less you will be way ahead. |
