Default New mobile VHF/UHF from Yaesu: FTM-350 (fixed)

Yaesu released a new mobile VHF/UHF radio at the Tokyo Ham Fair last weekend, the FTM-350.
The FTM-350 is a 2m/70cm rig, capable of putting out 50W max. GPS and APRS are
included in the box.

I guess they kind of liked the Kenwood D-7XX series, eh?


Any rate, built in GPS is cool and has been needed for as long as HF and
VHF rigs have needed USB ports instead of ancient Serial ports.

Looks nice, any idea on price?

The similar FT-10R has a list price of 450 USD. I imagine the new
FTM-350 won't be far from this figure, but I have nothing to back this
up with.
