Yeah, the device in the pictue is usually just called a OM, MM, IM dependening on its position and has evolved from a wire antenna from when I got into the FAA to the double Yagi to the single Yagi . I havent been out there in a long time but I think there is a single yagi OM there now and all the wooded area is now turned in to condos. Http://www.b-howie.demon.co.uk/pw.jpg This was the OM for Prestwick Airport in Scotland . It has the NBD mast and a pair 75MHz Yagis.
