Default EZNEC v. 4.0 at Dayton

I'll be introducing EZNEC v. 4.0 at the Dayton Hamvention this year, and
a new program type, EZNEC+.

Briefly, the main new features of EZNEC v. 4.0 a

-- Unlimited undo/redo
-- Wire insulation
-- Geometry check (spots wires crossing, overlapping, etc.)
-- Faster calculations (20 to 400% or more, depending on model, machine)
-- Automated loop creation & resizing (for you quad fans)
-- Stack, copy, move, rotate groups of wires
-- 2D trace comparison (put cursor on added trace and see rel. gain)
-- Improved printing (access advanced printer options; default retained)

EZNEC+ has these additional features:

-- 1500 segment capability
-- Circular polarization
-- Double precision calculating engine
-- Direct import of NEC file GW coordinates

New programs will be $89 for EZNEC, $139 for EZNEC+ (web order/download;
add $10 for CD, $3 for CD shipping outside U.S. and Canada). A
substantial discount will be offered to current EZNEC (and even ELNEC)
users. As has been my custom, I'll offer the CD at Dayton for the web
download price (a $10 discount).

I'll be located at my usual spot at booth 514, near the Yaesu booth.
I'll also have the demo version on mini-CDs to give away while they last.

I hope to have the web site up with the new version at about the same
time as the Hamvention (May 14), but don't know if I'll quite make it.
Upgrade notices will be mailed out to current EZNEC and ELNEC customers
just as soon as I'm sure the web site is working properly. PLEASE DON'T
CONTACT ME FOR A CUSTOMER ID. IT WILL BE PRINTED ON YOUR UPGRADE NOTICE.
Current EZNEC customers will need the customer ID to get the upgrade
discount at the web site.

EZNEC pro versions (EZNEC-M and EZNEC/4) also have the new features,
plus they can now do 20,000 segments, and add GH (create helix) "cards"
to the types they can read in an NEC-format file.

I'm sorry, I'm really up to my eyeballs getting everything done in time.
So I won't respond to any individual questions now about the program. I
will, however, try to check back here now and then, and answer questions
that are posted.

See you at Dayton!
