I recently acquired a tower that is thought to be made by Rohn. I got some
information on 25G and 45G towers from www.rohnnet.net but mine seems to be somewhere between these sizes. It measures ~13.75" between centers of the legs and the legs are 1.25" diameter. It is galvanized steel and otherwise resembles newer Rhon towers. It's probably 25 years old but is in excellent condition. Any info is appreciated. Martin KC8CFP |

It is known as Rohn "35" or "HW". It was apparently made for Motorola by Rohn. You can find out more by searching the Towertalk archives for "Rohn 35" http://lists.contesting.com/archives//html/Towertalk/ Torsten N4OGW |

![]() Martin, Sounds like you may have a 'Universal' tower instead of a 'Rhon'. Not much difference in what they look like. 'Doc |

They looked very similar to the Rohn 25G product (which was originally made in Peoria, IL), but Universal Towers were made in the Chicago area (as I was told during coffee last week). The Universal tower was also very heavy! You might do a couple of google searches of the Universal product Greg w9gb |
