Default The philosophy of short antennae

The sure sign of a false argument is if it is accompanied by
the aggression of personal remarks.

Truth needs no such sparring partners.

I've been trying to decide whether I can shun you without breaking my
promise. I think I can now. I come here to learn a bit, and wading through
this dreck is NOT helping. I'm done. My almost ineffectual gesture of putting
you on the plonk list will do little good, but at least it will reduce any
further temptation to get involved in this stuff.

I don't mind other people's replies to him, so long as they deal with some
basics, after all the repetition might teach ME, even if it won't tech him.
Whaty I d hope for in addition is that people will quit attacking him unless
it strictly needed to defend themselves, and there are usually better ways to
do that. If people really need a fast breifing on Gareth's nature and
behaviour, I suggest pointing to a few press articles and leaving it at that,
instead of trying to re-interpret these events in further flames. I found
more than I wanted to know, just by looking for it, and I don't want to see
it, or its effects, any more. That half hour told me more than any of the
back-and-forth stuff going on in TEN YEARS of Usenet postings easily found
online, which I read very few of once I saw more smoke than fire.

I'm blocking your posts, Gareth, because I don't want to be tempted to raise
any smoke after this moment. I'm done.

There is no such thing as "The philosophy of short antennae".

There is the science of electromagnetics that explains how ANY antenna,
including short ones, works.

The phrase "aggression of personal remarks" is word saland babble.
