Hi I have a friend writing a neat yagi design program. I'm trying to
find info so he can include a couple of different balun design calculators. One is the design for having the coax internal to the driven element, much like commercial designs. The other is where flat material is used and the driven points of teh folded dipole meat in a `Z' style patern. Both these designs offer good matching and ease of construction compared witht eh triditional external coax designs that also require more weatherproofing etc. Can anyone help with info or links or formuila's on how to work out these types of baluns? (Please email me direct as I'm not a regular visitor of this forumn). Thanks, Ken. VK4AKP. Email: ..-.-. |
