Default Repairing a tri-band Co-linear 50/144/430 MHz

My triband co-linear has 'died'. It is a clone of the Comet GP15- the 3dBi,
6dBi, 8dBi beast about 8ft long.

I've found the fault- the capacitor that connects the inner of the coax to a
tap on the matching coil. It has failed short so I can't measure it and it
is too cooked to read the value.

Of course, I can have a play with a variable, checking with the antenna
analyser or even SWR meter, but that will take more time than I can spare at
the moment.

Anyone repaired one of these before and noted down the values of the C's in
there?
