Looking for a design for a multi-element (10-20) yagi antenna that I may use
for sending/receiving wireless audio/video used for surveillance system. Not having the best of luck finding same at this point. Any help for one's already designed or a good formula to go by to build my own. Thanks, Mitchell |

Take a look at these pages on my web site: http://www.k7mem.150m.com/Electronic....html#Page_Top and http://www.k7mem.150m.com/Electronic....html#Page_Top This may give you the help you need. Watch out for the popups because it's a free web site. -- Martin E. Meserve - K7MEM http_//www.k7mem.150m.com |

Thanks, Mitchell If you decide to buy, check out http://www.directivesystems.com/ . Some of their stuff is also available from Down East Microwave. For abour $100 you will get one with about twice the number of elements you mention. At these frequencies all your dimensions have to be very exact. I once bought their big 2.4 GHz loop Yagy. Tam |

Wifi runs at 2.4Ghz... There are tons of high gain antennas available for 2.4Ghz
band, some of which are pretty reasonable. Thanks --Rick Mitchell wrote: Looking for a design for a multi-element (10-20) yagi antenna that I may use for sending/receiving wireless audio/video used for surveillance system. When higher gains are sought, other approaches are more effective, for a given form factor, than a Yagi-Uda. What gain/beam do you need? 73, Chip N1IR |
