I was talking to a guy (forgot his call) that said he uses
some sort of commerically made antenna for 6m that is a pair of stacked loops that givee omni pattern of about 6db or so. What is this antenna? Doug, N4IJ |

What is this antenna? Doug, N4IJ Doug, Could be one of several depending on when they were purchased or made. AEA made a 6 meter loop until the later 90's; though I was never too impressed with it. Have spoken on the air with a couple of guys who use the KB6KQ as a mobile antenna and they had a decent signal and indicated the antenna holds up quite well mobile. The three current vendors I know of are shown below - don't think you'd get a bad antenna from any of them, they are reputable operations.
