Robert,

I would suggest to create your 'install.exe' on the oldest (W-95, -98)
system you have available and on which the software is running. When
creating your 'install.exe' the (old version) dll's and ocx's for this
'old' system are included in the package.

Old version dll's mostly are upwards compatable for running on 'new'
systems, whereas new dll's sometimes contain new 'features' which are
not compatible with the older systems.

However, don't forget to test on your most up-to-date machine.

At least that's my experience using 95, 98, Me and 2000

Thank you, Arie. I fully agree. I actually test both the installation
procedure and the performance of the installed product on Windows
98SE, Windows XP Pro, Windows ME, and Windows 2000 Server. Those are
the only Windows machines that I have available. I.e., I do not have
earlier than W98SE.

I already knew that there were problems with Windows ME. I had worked
out this problem on the previous release, but simply forgot to do it
on this latest release. I got lazy - Hi!
