Although the hybrid balun effected a great improvement, there was still a 'trace' of breakthrough so I tried another approach to see if I could obtain any further improvement....and I did! I used possibly the oldest technique around that of a wire quarter wave (and unconnected at the distant end) counterpoise cut for 40 m, the only really affected band. All breakthrough is now gone and all other bands are clean! Regards, Felix vk4fuq." So you completely fixed the problem with a quarter wave counter poise.
