same central support. I would like to use the idea he

Yes, it's fairly common. They're called several
names, a 'fan dipole' is one of them.

Radials with inverted VEE ?? The "inverted VEE" is a sort of dipole, a
symmetrical antenna, uses no radials. Both its wires are "live", even
if it is fed via a coax. (There should be a balun or a choke on the
antenna end of the coax to force symmetrical operation and stop
currents on the outer side of its shielding.) Do not ground any part
of your inverted VEE.

OK, I miss spoke. I want to have one dipole running north south, and the
other dipole of the same frequency running east west. I will be using coax
and a balun. will this set up work?
