Default Swan 250C w/ac supply

Hi...I've been looking around for one of the older Swan Transcevers...It
is The Model 250C
6 Meter Unit, with if possible the Matching AC Supply...I'm not looking
for a basket case, however. the radio does not have to be Mint either !
Also the price has to be reasonable...or else I might as well go out
and but one of these new Icom mobile radios with multi-mode VHF-UHF-6
meters-and HF to boot !!...for some $ 725.00
Anyway if someone out there has one of these radios ...please drop me a
line and we can go from there...OK

Thanks a Lot

E-Bay has them, but , these rigs are over 30 years old, and from company been out of business about that long, and they were TVI GENERATORS ! ! And there are better rigs (solid state, and much CLEANER ! ) out there quite reasonable !, Try yaesu (ft-620), also, kenwood made 6 meter ssb rig TS-600, SSB Engineering SB-50, and, then there are transverters for your low band xcvr! (all of these around $300-350) tho, I hate ICOM (never had one didn't self destruct!) but, they made several (biggest problem with these is replacement parts , never made many for them! ) but, tubes have about had it (at power levels below 500 watts , IE 4x150-250, 8873-4-5, 3-400/500z, ect, even the 6146 getting hard to find new!) , but, you don't need great power, either-- from the voice of experience! ( 6 METER Q.R.P. W.A.S. , # 724)
