Nice day for Shortwave propagation especialy from South to North
America.

Using a Sony 7600GR and about 75 feet of (one half) speaker zip cord
shoved out the window and wrapped half way down the south side of my
house and teminated at the far west side in the shape of an L. Only 50
feet of this is outside, the rest is dropped to the radio.

Albiet a tad noisy, it cost next to nothing as I used scrap cable. It
beats the whip and 3 different low noise coax antennas hands down.

I heard all these well enough to know who it was. Most well enough to
listen to if I understood spanish and portugese...etc. Most are
powerhouses with 100-500KW.

How much better might a DX sloper be? Less noise? More sensitivity?

Listening location is on New York/Vermont border with Canada @ 52nd
parrallel.
