![]() idle minds can come up with some strange questions and i'm no exception. i got to wondering if you have 2 toroids each with a permiablity of 100 and slide them both on a piece of coax, is the effective permiablity 200? if not what is it? larry kd5foy |

The Al of two toroids of the same material changes with physical dimensions. The permeability is still 100, but the cross section area has changed so the Al (uH/100T) changes in the formula. -- 73, Cecil http://www.qsl.net/w5dxp ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
