Default dual diversity FM ant on cars

I just heard an ad and didn't get the car mfg advertising dual diversity FM
antennas for better fade free reception. Anyone have any details?

Some of the Sony car decks have had that feature for quite a few years
now.

Hooray for Morita and his successors again! Diversity reception could
eliminate gaps in the city and with today`s solid-state be easy to
implement.

Diversity was standard on several models of Toyota over the last 15
years or so. Usually the more expensive models. Usually the antennas
were in Glass front and rear antennas.
Lately I see they are using Roof mounted antennas like my VW.
