hi
While this might sound simple for most, i kinda have a a little trouble visulizing the best 'physical' layout of some stuff... couldn't find any guides to use as a sample thought someone here might have some picutres or .ppt or visio layouts... I am trying to set up my new hamshack w/o a rats nest of wires for once i have a rig on my desk and a shelf about 2ft over it with my tuners, pwr supply another rig under it i've mounted a small light(ac) 2 alphadelta coax swithcs and 2 ice lightnng protectors and a inline balun my space is limited, and seems it'd be difficult to have some wires that didnt cross or go parallel for a bit or at some point, again perhaps not if i could 'see' things better using my rf cables as the starting point i've attached a nice cabel tray for them it's covered looks nice not rf proof i stopped cauze i wonder if my dc cables cross over that or run along it will that be detremental to the coax?? how about he ac if the ac cables run near either my coax or dc is that bad the two ways i might do it would be either at a cross 'X" ie right angle the other might be parrallel spaced a few inches apart aside from the above' anybody have any nice pictures of a ham shack installs showing nicely mounted wires all dressed , tied down and run right?? thanks |
