Default Hooking up a Powered Antenna to a Boom Box...

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

I just purchased a Terk Q powered FM antenna to get better FM reception
in my office. However, there is no means of hooking up the device to
my antenna directly. The antenna has a hookup that looks like a
coaxial connection, but without threading (cylinder with a post). Does
anyone know of a way or can anyone come up with a way to hook the
antenna to my "boom box", which has the standard telescoping antenna?

I appreciate any and all help you can provide.

Thank you.

Should I have one wire with two clips on either end? Also, should I
clip the powered antenna side to the post or to the cylinder?

Thanks.

just try it and see, with clipped together things like this you have to try
it and find which way works the best.
