Default FS: HRO-500 PROJECT

I bought this receiver as a winter project, but winter is about over
and I still haven't got to it.
It looks in great shape, but only locks up on one band (26.5).
It does make noise (background not crackling).
I have a copy of the manual with it.

Yeah but!! Soon you will be QSLing from the desert south west USA. There you
won't have to shovel frozen rain flakes so, you will have more time to work
projects ... like new towers, like going fishing, like chasing women, and, oh
yes, fixin up old radios :-)
