I don't have one, but the following info may be of some help in
finding one of the right style:

The mechanism used in the HRO receivers (removable coils, tuning
capacitor shaft Parallel to front panel) was known to National as the
PW dial.

The mechanism used in the NC-101 type receivers (sliding catacomb coil
assembly, tuning capacitor shaft Not Parallel to front panel) was
known to National as the NPW dial.

Thanks Jim,
Thanks for the info. I have a HRO 7R I'm trying to restore. I have yet to
find a good photo of the HRO 7R, there are plenty of photos of the HRO 7. I
don't know if the panel color is silver gray or wrinkle finish black. I
wonder if certain coil sets from different HROs are comparable?

==================================================

The older HRO coils will work in your HRO-7. The HRO-50 coils will
work too as will the low-frequency HRO-60 coils. It's the A and B
coils for the HRO-60 that are different. The HRO-60 is double
conversion on those bands. As far as I can tell, all the single-
conversion coils are interchangeable. I have used several different
low-frequency coil sets in my HRO-60 and they work fine. --Ed

That's great to know , I see them from time to time on eBay. The trouble
with eBay is that you almost have to snipe the item in order to get it. And
then there's the rich A*&H%^&$s that put a $1000 bid in on a $20 item.
