Default Still lookin' - 1000VCT/6/5 VAC Xformer

Hi fellers...I am still on the prowl for a transformer for my Johnson
Adventurer. I need 500-0-500 VAC, 5 VAC and 6 VAC on secondary with 115 VAC
on primary. A Hammond 282X is one possible replacement but the going prices
are a little painful. Anyone have one I would be glad to buy it for a
reasonable price. Thanks!

Smokey

Thank you Ed. I have contacted oldradioparts.com to see if the transformer
is still available. I appreciate you taking time to help me.

My best, Smokey

You really gotta have that center tap? No way around it? You wouldn't
be willing to go the full-wave route?

Have you considered rewinding the original one? Usually it's just the
HV winding that goes bad.
