I am pleased to announce to this illustrious group that there will be
a formal get-together of R-390A enthusiasts at the NEW ENGLAND AMATEUR
RADIO FESTIVAL (NEAR-Fest) on Friday October 12th 2007 at 5:00PM.

This event, called The R-390A Receiver Workshop, will be hosted by
George Rancourt, K1ANX. Known and respected throughout the amateur,
commercial, and military radio communities for his vast knowledge and
expertise, George is recognized as one of the top R-390 gurus. He
brings several decades of hands-on experience and skill to the table,
and we are very fortunate and pleased to have him share his wisdom and
experience with us
