Has a BFO, and headphone feed, the tuner is like a Turret tuner from an old
TV. (bigger but same principle) VERY well built, they spared no expense, these are used to read field streght readings for transmitters. So it's a piece of test gear, but seems to work well as a communications receiver. New they were $6,490 thdy were built between 1966 and 1973.. This one seems to work, but is sold as is. The NM-25T Radio Interference and Field Intensity Analyzer is ideal for surveys to determine the source and analyze the characteristics of radiated and conducted radio interference. It is simple to operate, stable, easily read, and may be used for 40 continuous hours without recharging the integral battery pack. " Frequency Range: 150kHz to 32MHz (8 bands) " Sensitivity: .2 µV across 50-ohms " Input VSWR: 1.25 " Shielding Effectiveness: 100 dB " Audio output: 25 mW into 600-ohms " Power consumption: 5 W 25 lbs Last calibrated by Canadian Gov't in 1987. Only thing I've done, is have the rechargeable batteries replaced. Reason for selling....just way too many radios, and moved to a small condo, unhappy better half. $1,000 or offers? 73's Ray |
