Default Heathkit DX-20 Plate XFORMER needed

Hi all,
I"m in need of a plate transformer for a Heath HX-11 or DX-20 CW
transmitter. It's 1200 VAC CT with 6.3 and 5.0 VAC filament taps.

Dave -

There was a Heath DX-20 on eBay that had a bad one
(I lost auction for it - maybe you bought it).

I do not remember that transformer being a 1200 V CT (I thought it was more
around 600-800 V with a doubler circuit) ...

IF you have the original transformer -- you can send it to Heyboer in Grand
Haven, MI .. just down the road from old Heathkit plant ... they do quality
work -- I have used them in past.

Do you have the original one? What normally fails on those are the
HV secondaries, which arc over. Since that's the last winding put on,
it's the first one to be removed. It's not all that hard to rewind these
things yourself.
