Hammarlund never made caps, they just bought from whoever was cheapest
at the time.

If you need a 50 pF NPO capacitor, Panasonic makes good ones.

Wait a minute. Hammarlund made variable capacitors. ANd the moment
I saw the subject header, it was clear to me he's looking for a 50pF variable
because of the context.

Bill, I think that I put my hand on a 50 uuf air trimmer cap
that I can send to you gratis. I may have a larger frame
type, but I'd have to get something (plus shipping) for it.
If you can post the equipment you're trying to obtain it
for, we can work further. Get the info to me quickly--If I
don't have it, there's a local swap this Sunday where it
will probably be sitting on someone's table.

Nice-looking girl on the site! Is that your XYL?

They did, didn't they? I'm not sure what the context is here.

But, I have a Hammarlund APC-50 here... this is one of the ones with
the 1/8" shaft with a locknut for screw adjustment.

If you want something with a knob I have a bunch of 100pF ones, but they
aren't Hammarlund brand.
