Default KNobs

Hi Dick,

These are the skirted ones with the H in the center, right? Larry Bordonaro
makes reproductions. I bought a couple for my SX-23. The only problem with
them is that they do not have the metal inserts. The two setscrews in each
knob are threaded into the plastic.I had to file flat spots on my shafts to
get them to work. I would think that for heavy use, these would need to be
modified. They look great though.

Larrys web site is at www.antiqueradioknobs.com . His email is available on
the web site. Although he does not list these knobs on his site, he has the
mold and will make them for you.

I need a Bandswitch knob and a Main Tuning knob.
Anyone have any of these or know of a source of
reproductions ?

Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ
