Hello,
I'm plan to start the restoration of a Navy RBO-2 receiver Scott SLR-H) shortly. The receiver seems to be complete except for the dial bezel and pointer. Also, the metal Navy ID plate is missing. Do you have any idea where I could locate these missing items? If so, please let me know. The front panel of my set has a black finish and the cabinet is painted green. Some of the photographs that I have looked at on the Internet show the RBO-2 with a black crinkle finish. I recall someone telling me years ago that the Navy receiver was gray. Do you know what the original color and texture of the front panel was? Also what was the color of the cabinet? Thanks for your assistance, Tom |
