I have aquired a Loudenboomer amplifier with out power supply. Could some
give me some hints on where to start building or acquiring a power supply for this unit? The first problem I have encountered is the amps and volts of the plate transformer. Thanks, Paul P. |

Paul,
I have a non working supply and amp. There is no tube and one of the 50 watt resistors is broken in half. I do have two replacement resistors I got from Newark Electronics. Where are you located? The shipping may make if uneconomical because of the weight and packing. The supply has had the 866 rectifiers removed and solid state devices installed. Also the filament transformer for those tubes has also been removed. I can send a picture or two if that helps. let me know what you think. 73, Mike-K5VSE Formerly WB6VSE, Senior Tech.
