The Shelby Hamfest is in Dallas NC, it's always on Labor Day weekend.
This year was their 52nd anniversary.
This was the first year in a new location, they had been at the old
site since 1980. Everyone said the event
would be way down in attendance because of the move, they were wrong,
it was much bigger than it has been
for many previous years.
